        8965 is a one-component waterborne spray adhesive designed for the immediate assembly in foam bonding,
upholstery, and other assembly applications. It exhibits instant tack, excellent green strength, and repositionability. One-sided application is possible in many uses. Bonds quickly on nonporous surfaces including aluminum and some plastics. Ideal for bonding foam, carpet, upholstery, insulation and other light-weight materials to MDF, particleboard, and lauan as well.

What is Padding Adhesive?

Padding Adhesive or Padding Glue is a fast drying hot melt or water-based adhesive designed for flexibility and strength.  Padding adhesive is designed to give a permanent hold. Our Padding adhesive is Non-toxic and contains No VOC’s.

Padding presses are used to bind loose pieces of paper together with a water-based padding adhesive, this process forms a pad of paper. Stacks of paper are placed in a large vice and are then clamped into place. While in the padding machine, padding glue is applied to the back edge of the paper stack using of a padding brush. Once the bind is dry, the stack of paper is removed and can be cut down to size. Padding presses are widely used by binderies, and many other companies in the bookbinding and graphics arts industry.

What is Fugitive Hot Melt adhesive?

Fugitive hot melt adhesive, also called “Credit Card glue” or “Booger glue”, is a Low-tack adhesive that produces removable, non-permanent bonds.

Fugitive hot melt adhesives form a Temporary Bond between two substrates leaving minimal residue and can be separated without damaging either substrate.

Cattie Adhesives manufactures a full line of high performance Fugitive / Removable Hot Melt Adhesives; available in several degrees of Color, Peel Strength, Tack, Shear Strength and Viscosity.

Our Fugitive Hot Melt adhesive can be formulated as Non-Staining and “Water White” Color; making them a great choice for Credit Card Affixing and Direct Mail applications.

Our Fugitive adhesives are widely used on Direct Mail and Marketing materials, where a substrate material – product insert, sample or a return envelope – is glued to another, usually a paper or film – mailing envelope or a magazine.
