Pick the chemistry that matches the line

Industrial adhesives are not one glue. Start with how you apply and how the bond must behave after it sets:

Hot melt — melt tank or stick gun; fast set for case/carton, woodworking, filters, assembly. See hot melt adhesives (EVA, metallocene, APAO).
Water-based — no melt tank; PVA/acrylic/cohesive for packaging, converting, labeling. See water based adhesives.
Pressure sensitive (PSA) — bonds with pressure only; labels, tapes, films. See pressure sensitive adhesives.
PUR hot melt — applied molten, then moisture-cures to a structural thermoset (panels, wood, RV). See PUR hot melt.
Liquid PUR — room-temp moisture-cure liquid; clamp while it starts. See liquid PUR polyurethane.

What to send for a sample match
