How to apply, handle, clean up, and store reactive hot melt adhesive

Reactive hot melt (PUR) sets as it cools, then moisture-cures. Use equipment built for PUR, not a conventional hot-melt tank. Call 800-249-0337 for the SDS and a sample.

What are reactive hot melt adhesives?

Reactive hot melts from Cattie are solvent-free, 100% solids adhesives. They are thermosetting: they set as they cool, then crosslink with moisture in the air and in the substrate.

That second cure is what gives PUR better creep, heat, and moisture resistance than a conventional hot melt. See the PUR hot melt product page for grades.
