Laminating Adhesives
Paper, film, foil, wood, panels — VAE, PVA, hot melt, PUR, or heat seal. Match the laminator and the stack.
Water-based VAE, PVA, and PVOH laminating adhesives for corrugated / litho-laminators and similar lines. Hot melt and heat-seal grades for coated papers, polyester, PET, polyethylene, polypropylene, cellophane, PVC, aluminum and metal foils and films. Food-packaging water-based grades on this page are listed to FDA adhesive requirements for food packaging.
Pick the chemistry for the stack
Water-based VAE/PVA/PVOH for corrugated and litho-laminators. Hot melt or heat seal when the web is coated paper, PET, PE, PP, cellophane, PVC, or foil. PUR (hot melt or liquid) when flat panels need a structural, moisture-curing bond.
We can formulate
Wet tack and green strength for your nip; clarity vs initial grab (see 8900 / 8900A notes below); coat weight for roller, spreader, or slot; FDA-aware food-packaging grades when the end use requires it — confirm the grade, do not assume every WB is food-contact.
What to send for a sample match
Both webs (or panels), laminator type and speed, nip temperature if any, and whether the laminate must stay clear, flexible, or heat-resistant. Call 800-249-0337 or request a sample. Quakertown, PA.
How-to: hot melts on paper laminates, nip station laminating, laminated film defects, coating and laminating line.

8900 / 8900A — two-part water-dilutable laminating adhesive for flexible films and cellulosic substrates. 8900A for high initial bond, clarity, and thermal stability. 8900 when maximum laminate clarity is the priority.
