Woodworking Adhesives
Furniture, cabinets, flooring, windows, doors — PVA, hot melt, or PUR. Set wood in seconds when the line needs it.
Water-based, hot melt, solvent, and polyurethane adhesives for wood bonding. Furniture, cabinet and drawer assembly, countertops, flooring, panel affixing, V-grooving, windows, and door laminating. Type I and Type II water-based wood adhesives for engineered flooring.
Applications
- 3D laminating and membrane pressing
- Finger jointing, edge gluing, face gluing, block-board jointing
- Dowelling, edgebanding, profile wrapping
- Flat lamination — cold and hot press
- Wood veneer, seating, foam fabrication, mattress frame assembly
Stock grades
- 7-805 — internally catalyzed Type II PVA cold press for decorative overlays on particleboard and plywood
- 7-816 — fast-setting crosslinking PVA for hot and cold press, veneer, RF
- 7-842 — general-purpose PVA, long closed assembly time, cold press
- 7-847 — premium fast-setting PVA for jointing, edge gluing, dowelling
- 7-856 — fast-setting yellow wood glue for softwoods, hardwoods, particleboard
- 7-890 / 7-894 — post-formable vinyl acetate for HPL to particleboard, plywood, MDF
- 7-859, 7-866, 7-883WH — water-based polyurethane for membrane press / vacuum-form PVC foils, with hardener 7-560
We can formulate
Open time and set speed for your press or RF; Type I vs Type II water resistance for engineered flooring; viscosity for cold press, hot press, or roller; PUR hot melt or liquid PUR when the joint needs structural heat and moisture resistance beyond PVA.
What to send for a sample match
Species or board (particleboard, MDF, plywood, hardwood), overlay or veneer, press type and temperature, clamp time, and whether the joint sees moisture or heat in service. Call 800-249-0337 or request a sample. Quakertown, PA.
How-to: edge gluing and laminating problems, handle reactive hot melt, trial checklist.
Related: edgebanding, dowelling, door laminating, 3D lamination, profile wrapping.
Send the wood, the overlay, and the press.
