Furniture and cabinet assembly
- Cabinet and drawer assembly

Polyolefin and PUR hot melts can set wood in about 15–30 seconds without clamping.
8600 — PUR with fast tack for cabinets, steel, woods, and EPS; about 4000 cps at 250°F; about 4 minutes open; about 10-hour cure. See PUR hot melt.
Woodworking PVA stock grades are on woodworking. Furniture-relevant examples:
- 7-847 — premium fast-setting PVA for jointing, edge gluing, dowelling
- 7-805 — internally catalyzed Type II PVA cold press for decorative overlays on particleboard and plywood
- 7-890 / 7-894 — post-formable vinyl acetate for HPL to particleboard, plywood, MDF

8965 — one-component waterborne spray for foam bonding and upholstery; instant tack, green strength, repositionable (listed on product assembly). Match the grade to the foam and the spray or roll coater.
Mattress construction (foam-to-wood / mattress frame) lives on mattress.
Edgebanding, profile wrapping, 3D lamination
- Edgebanding — unfilled EVA and APAO hot melts for furniture and wood-based panels. PVC, veneer, solid wood, melamine, primed HPL. Tight glue line at line speed. Grade table stays there.
- Profile wrapping — EVA, polyolefin, and PUR hot melts for wrapping foils, papers, and veneers onto furniture profiles, baseboards, and drawer frames. Roller or slot nozzle, speeds up to about 300 ft/min. Polyolefin heat resistance up to about 230°F. Also 1- and 2-part water-based, and solvent-based grades.
- 3D lamination — 1- and 2-part water-based polyurethane dispersions for 3D furniture fronts (kitchen cabinet doors and other membrane-pressed or vacuum-formed vinyl and PVC foils on particleboard). Hot melt, water-based, and PUR
- Hot melt adhesive — woodworking and furniture (cabinets, profile wrapping) among plant uses. EVA, metallocene, and APAO are the starting chemistries. Low-temperature grades apply at about 250°F instead of 350°F.
- Water-based adhesive — no melt tank. PVA and PU dispersions among the chemistries we run. Bonds include woods, plastics, and vinyl. Furniture-mill PVA numbers stay on woodworking. 8223 (cohesive, furniture wrap) is a shipping-wrap grade on that product table, not mill assembly — see the water-based page if you wrap furniture for shipment.
- PUR hot melt — moisture-cure polyurethane. Bonds solid wood and veneer, MDF/particle board, metals, foams, plastics, PVC, foils. Applied molten, then cross-links. Green strength in minutes. 8600 is the cabinet grade above.
