A packaging consultant is worth it when the plant does not have converting, structure, or adhesive depth in-house, and a mistake will show up in shelf life, leakers, or a failed customer qualification. It is not worth it when the job is a known structure and the adhesive is the only open item — call the adhesive supplier first.
