This is a bindery checklist for a typical softcover / magazine one-shot line: jog, saw, rough, notch, spine pot, reverse spinner, cover drum, then trim. Hardcover two-shot and PUR spine glue are noted where they differ. Suggestions are a starting point, not every job.

  • Smoking or fuming hot melt
  • Charring or gelling in the reservoir
  • Air bubbles in the pot or on the book back
