Cattie Adhesives today announced that its PUR hot melt is now available in 100 g foil packs for small bookbinding shops. The foil pack is an alternative to pellets for tabletop and single-clamp desktop binders.
Small binderies often melt more PUR than a short run needs. A 100 g foil pack lets a shop open only what the job calls for, which means less waste on short runs and one-off books.
The foil pack is aimed at small bookbinding shops, print-on-demand operations, and in-house binderies running tabletop and single-clamp desktop binders. Not every small binder runs PUR, so Cattie confirms fit with each shop before it orders.
