Water-based extrusion adhesives for paper and corrugated packaging, converting, and product assembly. Viscosity to match porous and non-porous stocks: UV-coated, clay-coated and SBS papers, boards, films, foils, woods, plastics, corrugated, coated board, and vinyl. Low VOC, see SDS. Cattie can offer products with FDA and BfR clearances. Ask us for the grade and documentation for your application.
Compared with glue-pot, wheel, or bottom-pot systems: less adhesive usage, less slinging at speed, less nozzle build-up, and control of coat weight as the machine changes speed. Grades can be supplied blue or pink, or with UV detection.
Stock grades
- 8272 — difficult and coated substrates; fast set; clean machining; water resistance
- 8281 — difficult substrates; fast set; clean machining
- 8283 — extrusion grade; any viscosity; difficult substrates
